We supply Non-Medical Help to disability services, inclusion teams and DSA-funded students across UK higher education, with the documentation and audit trail that institutional partners need.
Nine Non-Medical Help roles across DfE Bands 1, 3 and 4: sighted guide, specialist notetaking for deaf and vision impaired students, speech to text reporting, mobility training, specialist support professionals for deaf, vision impaired and multi-sensory impaired students, specialist one-to-one study skills for SpLD, and specialist mentoring.
Every practitioner holds the mandatory DfE qualification for the role code they deliver, is DBS checked, and works under our safeguarding, confidentiality and data protection policies.
Each session generates a confirmation from the student, a timestamped audit record and a standard SFE Appendix A timesheet. Where a student confirms by email rather than in the portal, that evidence is captured and stored against the session.
That means when a claim is queried — by the institution, by the funding body or at audit — the record already exists and can be produced immediately rather than reconstructed.
We respond to referrals within one working day and can usually start support within a week of receiving a DSA2 entitlement letter, including mid-term starts and emergency cover where another provider has fallen through.
Support is delivered face-to-face across Greater London, the North West, North East, South East, South West, West Midlands and Yorkshire & Humberside, and remotely UK-wide.
We charge the published DSA rates and invoice Student Finance directly. Pathways International Limited is not currently VAT registered, so the rate quoted is the amount invoiced with nothing added.
